Running Wild

2020 - 2021

Media:

Graphic Design | Print & Digital Logo

Role:

Graphic Designer

Client:

Sequoia Parks Conservancy

I designed the print and digital logos for Sequoia Parks Conservancy's annual "Running Wild" fundraisers: Running Wild to Whitney (2020) & Running Wild to Rae Lakes (2021).

2020

I designed the print and digital logos for Sequoia Parks Conservancy's annual "Running Wild" fundraisers. Each year, Sequoia Parks Conservancy picks a new geographic location to feature within the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Using their brand standards, I worked with Sequoia Parks Conservancy to design logos that feature the highlighted geographic feature alongside popular iconography of the Sequoias.

CONCEPT SKETCHES

2021

Following the 2020 logo, Sequoia Parks Conservancy wanted to produce a circular logo that featured runners, sequoia trees, and Rae Lakes in their brand standards. This logo was used for digital marketing, as well as t-shirts and other printed materials.

COLLECTING MATERIALS & BRAND GUIDELINES

Before designing the content, I collected all required materials from Sequoia Parks Conservancy. This included their brand guidelines, reference photos of geographical features, moodboards of visual inspiration, and asking SPC for personal preferences or their own ideas.
